Drug and Alcohol Rehabiliation for Professionals
Rehabilitation programs for professionals and executive treatment
centers should display the highest quality outcome. While it's not a
vacation, it is a retreat to focus on repairing what has been damaged and
getting back to the way things should be - without alcohol or other drugs.
Comfort and setting may be important, but results are still what matter most. We pride ourselves on being able to connect you with quality drug and alcohol rehab facilities that are very successful and provide the private atmosphere you're looking for.
There are
locations in several parts of the country that can deliver this. Despite having
many "upscale" treatment centers in the area, it doesn't necessarily mean that
any of these have workable solutions for permanent recovery. Success is still
the most important.
We have found that the most successful professional rehabilitation centers have three main things in common. The first is that they do not set a time limit on how long the program lasts. In most cases a 30-day rehab program is not enough. A long term rehab program that can work with the individual on his or her needs is generally more able to address more of the problem to find solutions. This doesn't mean it has to be 12 months or longer, but it is often around 90-120 days.
The next component of a successful
rehablitation program for professionals is that it does not use substitute
drugs to treat the addiction. An executive cannot be completely himself when
other toxins that are potentially addictive and have their own side effects are
being fed to their brains. Some who are on medications or drug replacement
therapy may agrue this, but of course they are unable to see that their
awareness and potential has been dulled or limited by these drugs. Substituting
one drug for another is not an answer to the problem, it is merely a temporary
treatment for the symptoms.
The last commonality is the viewpoint on addiction. Programs that tell addicts they are diseased and that relapse is a part of the recovery process that should be taken one day at a time for the rest of their lives often leave people feeling hopeless. On the other side, rehabilitation centers that work on a personal decision and responsibility viewpoint actually empower former addicts to put this behind them once and for all an no longer focus on the past problems in life. This is an educational philosophy that has been proven to be successful in several different types of treatment approaches.
There may be
other components that you might feel are necessary, or at least more
beneficial. One could be the type of detox and cleansing procedures use. Some
facilities have very strict diets with healthy foods and others may use message
therapy or nutitional supplements. Yet another highly effective tool is to do a
biophysical
body cleansing to eliminate stored drug residues and help reduce physical
cravings. There may be other factors to consider in an executive rehab center
for professionals that might not have been mentioned here.
